Win a prize for your ICT project on development
The Global Knowledge Partnership's 'Youth Creating Digital Opportunities Awards' are open to youth projects that use ICT to achieve development objectives. Projects must have been running for at least one year and have clear results. The deadline for submission is 31 August 2003.
The Awards bring international recognition to the outstanding work of young people who have used information communication technologies (ICT) for the promotion of development around the world. The winning project will receive US$10 000.
The award ceremony will be held at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2003 in Geneva. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their projects to an international audience of policy makers and practitioners at the WSIS.
